Why we're building Kiltro

At Kiltro, our team — Vlad, Jon, Michelle and Natalie — shares a deep passion for self-improvement, wellness, and achieving personal goals. With our combined expertise and experience in these areas, we've dedicated ourselves to creating an app that simplifies the journey towards a healthier, more intentional way of living with more energy and less stress.

We understand that busy, high-achieving individuals often struggle to find the time and mental capacity to focus on their health and well-being. That's why we've done the research for you. Kiltro is designed to be your partner in cultivating daily habits that promote a healthy body and mind.

Our mission is to make it easier for you to integrate simple, effective habits into your daily life.

Vlad

Co-Founder and CEO

I have been passionate about health, fitness, and performance for as long as I can remember. I played soccer my entire life, and now took up a new extreme water sport. Nutrition and mental health have always been important to me.

In 2012 I cofounded a fitness app, Hot5 Fitness, which was acquired by Weight Watchers in 2015. I spent the next 4 and half years as an executive at WW helping millions of people achieve their health goals.

Kiltro is a culmination of all I've learned in my life about health and human behavior.

Co-Founder and CTO

Figuring out how things work and pushing myself to accomplish big goals have always driven me. I've overcome tough personal challenges in my life, and I completed my B.S. in Software Engineering, graduating summa cum laude, while working a full-time day job.

I thrive on pushing my limits through fine furniture craftsmanship, hand-building a wooden sailboat, and powerlifting.

I co-founded Kiltro to help others overcome challenges, push themselves further, and feel fulfilled.

Behavioral Scientist

Understanding human behavior, wellness, and personal growth has always intrigued me. I earned my PhD in Social Psychology and worked as a Behavioral Scientist at Weight Watchers before becoming a UX Research Lead.

My career has focused on understanding human behavior and helping technology companies apply these insights for success. Outside of work, I am a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and enjoy exploring southern Rhode Island with my husband Jonathan, our two dogs, and our extended family.

Parternships and Ops

Working in tech for the last 10 years, including 6 years at Google, I've thrived in fast-paced, high-achieving environments. However, after becoming a mother, maintaining balance in my life became more challenging.

Prioritizing what keeps me healthy and fulfilled often took a backseat to the demands of motherhood and work. The more I spoke with other moms, the more I realized this was a common struggle.

Kiltro helps me focus on what matters most in life, and I'm excited about how it can support other moms too.
